Halosydne translates from the Greek, to mean "sea nourished". The ocean is our earth's primary source of life. By providing steady nourishment to all organisms, the sea is able to cultivate an environment supportive of continuous growth and evolution.
These are the principles Halosydne Wellness Services, LLC is built on. We recognize our practitioners' businesses are their passions, fed and loved to have grown into their own source of life. For many, this has been accomplished by managing every element of the practice yourselves. By the time you begin searching for practice management services you are yearning for a healthier balance. You are ready to take a step back and ride the wave that leads your business to a more self-sustaining model.
We want to help nourish your business so it may evolve to a stage that no longer requires your daily involvement to effectively function.
Offering therapist practice management services and solutions. Find relief and enjoy being a therapist again!
Hey there! My name’s Anastasia Chrysostom, I’m the owner and operator of Halosydne Wellness Services, LLC. I have over ten years of experience volunteering and working in the mental health field.
I’m Greek-American, originally from a small island right outside Charleston, South Carolina, called Folly Beach. I developed a deep connection with the ocean and power her vastness holds. I grew up working in my father’s store, originally opened by my papou in 1959, a legacy I’m extremely proud of. I began managing the business by 17. My mother is a therapist, which is a career I am pursuing myself.
Self-care comes in many forms, boundaries being one of the most important. Despite my demanding schedule, I always ensure to hold space to focus on the connections I have with friends, family, nature and my own mental health. I encourage and offer guidance for all my clients to do the same.
I’m a dedicated fitness enthusiast and enjoy strength training, swimming and I'm a novice triathlete. On a beautiful day you can bet I'll be outside one way or another, hiking, paddle boarding, backpacking or even just strung up in a hammock soaking up the sun like a lazy lizard.
As a proud NPR nerd, therapy fan and dedicated lifelong learner, I've become a Jack of many trades and can usually be found late at night following a video on how to use a new power tool as I create a art piece or reading an article on the brutal mating habits of angler fish (trust me, look it up).
I never want to become stagnant in my own growth, so I avidly seek out new knowledge, adventure and experiences to challenge my sense of comfort and perspective.
By removing myself from my comfort zone I can turn off my brain's daily automation of future planning and to-do's, and I'm forced to be in the moment and connect, with the here and now and incredible people I meet along the way.
That's the connection that is most important to me. People, and their stories. How they got to where and who they are now.
